Lifeboat Operations Manager and Mayor
Cromer RNLI are very proud to announce that their Lifeboat Operations Manager, Richard Leeds, has been appointed Cromer Town Mayor.

Richard has been a long serving member of Cromer RNLI and has served as the LOM (Lifeboat operations Manager) for several years. In this voluntary role, Richard is responsible for the Cromer lifeboat station, both its all weather and inshore boats, crew and day to day operations, working closely with the Lifeboat Coxswains, the Deputy Launch Authorities and the Lifeboat Mechanic.
Richard’s long association with the RNLI has given him a vast amount of both RNLI knowledge and operational experience. His professional background has also helped him for this role having served in the Merchant Navy for many years.
Being appointed Cromer Town Mayor is a family tradition, as both his father and grandfather had served as Councillors in the past.
Richard is a very hard working person and will bring the depth of caring and ensuring things are done to this role, alongside his service to the RNLI.
